ReliaSource is looking for a talented and competitive Accounting Clerk Representative that thrives in a quick base cycle environment. Perform accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors. Record business transactions and key daily worksheets to the general ledger system. Input type vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records. Work with adding machines, calculators, databases and bank accounts


This position will start as a part-time, hourly position with unlimited room for growth.

The internships pay an hourly wage and require 12 hours per week of work. Schedule is flexible and will be primarily located at our office at 204 South High Street, Baltimore, MD 21202.


  • Providing accounting and clerical assistance to the accounting department
  • Typing accurately, preparing and maintaining accounting documents and records
  • Preparing bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
  • Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
  • Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
  • Provide assistance and support to company personnel
  • Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
  • Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
  • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws


  • Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts receivable clerk or Accounts payable clerk
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
  • Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Aptitude for numbers
  • Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
  • Data entry and word processing skills
  • Well organized
