    ReliaSource is looking for LAN Administrators and Information Assurance Network Specialists to provide fulltime support that cover a wide spectrum of requirements in the computer arena – troubleshooting, administration, maintenance and security of a Windows based network in an Active Directory environment, security scanning, vulnerability assessments, software packages to assist trainers, and provide expertise in helping with COTS packages. We must provide qualified analysts for technical support, customer service support, customer network management tools, application support, configuration management, LAN installation, and training. The contractor shall review and complete or design and produce operations manuals and user procedure manuals. Provide enterprise network support and standardization within the Department's guidelines, to maintain an enterprise client server environment using Active Directory, Windows server, Exchange, and Windows clients. Information assurance scanning/analysis shall be provided using such tools as Tenable and Trip Wire. ReliaSource must provide qualified analysts for expert technical guidance in: information assurance, Mobile Device Management (MDM) server and client solutions, ongoing management of the MDM solution, application support as it relates to the infrastructure, configuration management and operating system upgrades, training, help desk support and network management.

    Responsibilities

    LAN Administrator 

    LAN Installation will include both LAN hardware and software. Installations shall strictly adhere to customer Security Configuration Standards.

    * Provide installation, implementation, and problem resolution support for COTS and customer custom designed applications.

    * Ensure that all DS and IRM security and hardware configurations are strictly adhered to. Report security violations to ISSO or AISSO as soon as they are discovered.

     

    Areas of responsibility will include:

    * Software Installation: Install and test new software acquired by customer.

    * Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:

    1. Provide technical assistance to customer users experiencing trouble with their applications.
    2. Troubleshoot problems utilizing diagnostic software when possible. For problems that cannot be immediately corrected, prepare an issue/instance report recommending necessary course of action to remedy situation.

    * Hardware and Software Installation:

    1. Install and test new PC hardware and software acquired by customer.
    2. Ensure that all newly installed computers, peripherals, or boards are in working order and logged into the inventory.
    3. Install and test new PC software, ensure that it is working properly and logged into the inventory.
    4. Interview the customer staff to determine hardware and application needs.
    5. Provide telephone support to LAN users.
    6. Utilize Remedy to manage tickets.

    Qualifications

    LAN Administrator shall possess the following qualifications and experience:

     

    • Minimum of four (4) years of experience is preferred.
    • TS Security Clearance
    • LAN Installation experience both LAN hardware and software. 
    • Experience with installation, implementation, and problem resolution support for COTS and customer custom designed applications.
    • Reporting procedures; Ability to provide oversight and ensure security and hardware configurations are strictly adhered to. Will be required to report security violations to ISSO or AISSO as soon as they are discovered.
