  • Overview

    ReliaSource CRM Software Tester, will be responsible for writing a complete set, per the current requirements, of both Test Cases and Test Scripts and then helping the Test Lead to create an end-to-end test plan, assisting with the execution of that plan, and supporting all activities within the plan to ensure that all Test objectives and acceptance criteria are met and the delivered solution works as expected by the client/customer. The delivered solution should be fully tested for functional conformance, accuracy and completeness, compatibility with legacy and/or specified external systems as well as stated non-functional requirements of performance, reliability, and stability. Will also ensure that all test results, defects and potential risks and issues are properly identified, fully documented in the test tool and forwarded to the development team.  And, will collaborate with the whole team to ensure that a high-quality product is delivered into production.



    • Review functional and design specifications to ensure an accurate understanding of deliverable requirements and acceptance criteria.
    • Identify test requirements from the functional and design specifications and end user inputs, develop and map test case requirements, and help design a complete test coverage plan.
    • Develop, document, and maintain functional/System, Integration, end-to-end, Regression and Smoke test cases and other artifacts such as test data, validations, harness scripts, and any automated scripts.
    • Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
    • Isolate, replicate, and report defects, and verify defect fixes.
    • Log and Track defects in the test management tool.
    • Facilitate Test Plan and Test Case reviews with functional team members.
    • Identify any potential quality issues and escalate to test, project and program management.
    • Help ensure final production deliverables meet all functional and design requirements.
    • Perform 508 Compliance and Performance testing as needed or directed.
    • Participate in all Scrum ceremonies such as Scrum call, Sprint Planning meeting and Sprint Retro.



    Required Qualifications

    • Must have experience in the coordination and execution of test events in accordance with approved test plans, procedures and scripts.
    • Must have knowledge and skills to ensure that test environments are set up accurately.
    • Must be able to create test reports.
    • Must be able to test IT hardware, software, systems and networks.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required (8 additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for education).
    • 2+ years of end-to-end functional, integration, smoke and full regression software testing experience
    • 2+ years of relevant technical QA experience.
    • 2+ years web-based systems testing experience
    • Demonstrated experience in Agile software development environment
    • Demonstrated experience in both Manual and Automated software testing methods
    • Demonstrated experience in executing or supporting UAT testing
    • Demonstrated experience in database integration testing in multiple environments including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored procedures, jobs, triggers and data replication.
    • Proficiency in analyzing and documenting test results, defects and risks / issues using Application Life Cycle Management tools such as IBM Rational.
    • Demonstrated ability to understand and create clear, concise detail-oriented test plans and test cases from system and design specifications and/or verbal communications with customer experts.
    • Good verbal and written communications skills; ability to interact well with developers and clients.
    • Demonstrated ability to adhere to deliverable deadlines
    • Must be able to pass a background check to obtain a VA Public Trust (High-Risk) clearance.


    Preferred Qualifications

    • 5+ years of end-to-end functional, integration, smoke and full regression software testing experience
    • 5+ years of relevant technical QA experience.
    • 5+ years web-based systems testing experience.
    • Provide samples of your own work on:  test plans, test cases and scripts.
    • 3+ years of experience using tools such as IBM Rational QM, CM, RM/RNDG and RFT to automate tests, perform quality assurance tests, log software defects, and record results in the IBM Rational Tools.
    • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM products version 2015 through 365.
    • Experience in developing test plans, test cases, test procedures for MS Dynamics CRM applications.
    • Experience with JAWS for 508 Compliance Testing.
    • Experience with StressStimulus tools for Performance Testing.
    • Experience testing web services with tools such as SoapUI.
    • Experience with Veteran’s Administration quality management software and process.
